Who can apply?
Grants available Grants are available to help meet the actual or cash costs of implementing projects. These costs may include staff salaries, payments to consultants or contractors and the costs of equipment used in projects. Grants are available for meeting the costs of implementing eligible, sustainable energy activities. Projects can involve non-sustainable energy activities, such as reducing waste or water use, but the SEDO Grants Program does not provide grants for these purposes. SEDO encourages applicants to contribute cash funding and in-kind support to projects. Grants will typically NOT be provided for renewable energy or energy efficiency installations (such as solar photovoltaic panels, solar hot water systems or insulation) which are already eligible for funding under other Government programs (e.g. WA Solar Schools Program, Energy Efficient Homes Package, National Solar Schools Program, etc) or which are eligible for the Australian Government’s Solar Credits Scheme.
