The Cities for Climate Protection (CCP) Program is an international trade-marked program of the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives delivered in collaboration with the Australian Greenhouse Office which assists local governments and their communities reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Western Australian Local Government Association
The WA Local Government Association was launched on 6 December 2001, as the new voice of Local Government in Western Australia. The new Association is a united, dynamic, single organisation and replaces the WA Municipal Association, the Country Shire Council's Association, the Country Urban Council's Association and the Local Government Association (metropolitan councils).
